Reconciled against official records
Our OSINT-derived counts are published alongside authoritative government series — FBI national hate-crime statistics, New York State DCJS county data, and Statistics Canada’s quarterly preliminary series — so researchers can verify, compare, and quantify the undercount in police-reported data.

These series measure different universes and are not directly comparable: FBI figures count police-reported US hate-crime incidents with an Anti-Jewish bias motivation (voluntary agency reporting — a known undercount); NY DCJS counts police-reported incidents within New York State; this platform documents open-source-verified incidents worldwide, including incidents never reported to police. Divergence between the series is itself a finding.
